Q1 Consider a single-input single-output system with the torque r(t) as input and the
. angular velocity ω(t) as output as shown in Fig. 5.1. Find the transfer function of the
system with unity feedback. Also determine the expression for damping frequency
and natural frequency.

Q2 Given the closed-loop feedback system as shown in Fig. 5.2 where K=25 and

Show that the feedback system is underdamped. Calculate peak time, settling time,
percentage overshoot. Determine the value of K so that the percentage overshoot is
10% or less.
