Guidelines and Check list for Class-A Registered Private Professionals

to register with TCP Department, GoHP for issuing Structural Stability

Certificate.
Who can Apply:

1. Registered Class – A Civil Engineers

2. Registered Class – A Architects
3. Registered Class – A Town Planners

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Registered Class-A 'Civil Engineers':-

2. Registered Class-A 'Architects':-

Architecture (CoA) with minimum 4 years of experience.
Doctorate in Architecture from a recognised Indian or foreign University and
3. registered with the Council of Architecture (CoA) with minimum 1 year of
experience.

3. Registered Class-A 'Town Planners':-

Town Planners, India(ITPI), with minimum 4 years of experience.
Doctorate in Town Planning or Regional Planning (Graduation in Civil
Engineering or Architecture) from a recognised Indian or foreign
2. University and registered with the Council of Architecture (CoA) or
Institution of Engineers (India), as the case may be, and Institute of Town
Planners, India(ITPI), with minimum 1 year of experience.

NOTE:
1. Provided that the Class-A Registered Civil Engineers, Architects and Town Planners
applying for Registration as Structural Engineer and fulfilling the above mentioned
Eligibility Criteria shall submit a declaration about their experience along with their
application.

 2. Civil Engineer possessing requisite qualification and registered as Structural
Engineer, can issue structural stability certificate for all kind /classes of buildings.
3. Class – A registered private professional who are empanelled/ registered
(except Civil Engineer) can issue Structural Stability Certificate for LOW AND
MODERATE RISK BUILDINGS only, as per classification here under :

2 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS
a) High Commercial Shopping Complexes, Multiplexes, Can't Issue
Tourism Units, Marriage palaces, Automobile
Showrooms, any building raised on landfill, reclaimed
land, sinking sliding zones, buildings within the
minimum setback from HFL as prescribed in
respective DPs, buildings with communication towers
and buildings falling under the corridor of HT/LT lines.
b) Moderate Double storey shops YES
c) Low Single storey shops YES
3 INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS
a) High Buildings above two storeys, any building above 10 Can't Issue
meters height, any building raised on landfill,
reclaimed land, sinking sliding zones, buildings within
the minimum setback from HFL as prescribed in
respective DPs, buildings with communication towers
and buildings falling under the corridor of HT/LT lines.
b) Low Single storey buildings of 10 meters or less than 10 YES
meters height.
4 PUBLICS/SEMI-PUBLIC
a) High All buildings except for the buildings mentioned under Can't Issue
Low Risk category
b) Low Toilets, rain shelters, pump houses and crematoriums. YES

5 MIXED LAND USE BUILDINGS

a) High All buildings. Can't Issue

4. that I possess the necessary qualification of Class-A Registered Professional and I

am also registered to issue Structural Stability Certificate as per Govt. Letter No.
TCP-A(3)-1/2015- loose Dated - 18-02-2017.
