The Public Health (Control of Yellow Fever) Rules.


(Under section 29 of the Act.)

1. Citation.

These Rules may be cited as the Public Health (Control of Yellow Fever)
Rules.

2. Requirement of vaccination against yellow fever.

Every adult person and the parent or guardian of every child residing in the
area specified in the Schedule to these Rules shall, at any time when so
required by any person authorised for that purpose by the chief medical
officer to perform vaccination against yellow fever in that area, submit
himself or herself or the child, as the case may be, to the vaccination.

3. Restriction of movement in infected areas.

No person shall enter or depart from the area specified in the Schedule to
these Rules unless he or she shall produce proof, to the satisfaction of a
medical officer or other person authorised for that purpose by the chief
medical officer, that he or she has been vaccinated against yellow fever not
less than ten days and not more than four years before the entry or departure.
