Hi, I’m Brandon Nichols I am a 17-year-old boy born in Grand Rapids Michigan. I have

two loving parents named Johnna Nichols and Kevon Nichols. My parents are 46 and 43 my

mother has 2 other kids with my dad and my dad remarried and had two other kids with my

stepmother. I am the oldest of five I have three brothers and one sister my brothers are Braylon

who is 14 Will who is 12 Junior (Kevon) 10 and my sister Alivia who is 7. Some things I like are

football and I played for a few years in high school but had to quit because of injury. I enjoy the

music I have been in the band since I was the 6th grade I can play the trombone

And the tuba but the tuba is my number one instrument today though. I enjoy video games alone

or with friends I love a good story game or something I can do with my friends. I was born in

Grand Rapids and I lived there for some time and then moved to Grand Haven in the second

grade after being at Grand Haven for 3 years I moved to shores. With my family history in the

electrical field and my patience with people and customer service, i think I would be a great fit to

be an electrician

For as long as I can remember I have been around my Great Grandfathers electric

company helping move things around or even learning a few things from time to time it did not

matter what I was doing I just wanted to be around so I could help. One of the days I remember

most is when I was 10 I went on a job with my uncle around the Muskegon area and uncle john

let me carry his tools inside and watch him fix an electrical box. From that point on I was hooked

and I knew that's exactly what I wanted to do with my life after high school.

Any job that has to do with other people has to come with patients. Dealing with people

can be very difficult, but not impossible if you a patient and willing to listen and be

understanding. The reason I am so patient is that I have grown up with 4 younger siblings. You

learn to listen and block things out because your house is always so loud. One time when I was a

freshman I had missed a bunch of school for knee surgery, and I had to make up a bunch of late

work there was a bunch of stuff going on in my house but I knew I had to get this work done so I

just pushed and got through asking my siblings to quiet down countless times but never getting

upset and no matter how hard it was I got it done. If I can deal with my four siblings my whole

life I could deal with a customer for a little while.

In my senior year, I have met with my counselor to help me see where I need to go to do

what I want to do. I will be attending a college like Ferris state or GVSU to get my trade started

so I can be just like my uncle and grandfather.
