Responsible for general and cost accounting including a/p, a/r, invoicing, cash
application, payroll, warranty processing, order entry and processing and Inform
ation Systems. Completed financial closings, financial statement preparation and
reporting, analysis of operating results, forecasts, preparation of plant perfo
rmance package, credit assessment's and account reconciliations on a monthly bas
is. Annually, completed and presented financial budget, changed standard cost,

* Improved book/perpetual inventory accuracy by identifying root causes of large
write offs to physical and establishing corrective measures including BOM audit
s and tightening controls. Book-to-physical adjustments declined from 5% to 1%.
* Identified reasons for spare parts margin erosion and worked with Part Sales M
anager and Purchasing to reverse and improve coordination between purchase cost
and selling prices. Part sales margins improved by 4% over a 12 month period.
* Developed offsite inventory tracking procedure to improve visibility, control
