Shri Navin Tandon
Shri Navin Tandon was appointed as Administrative Member in
Central Administrative Tribunal, Jabalpur Bench, Jabalpur on 24th July, 2017. Earlier, he superannuated from the post of Member Electrical, Railway Board & Ex-Officio Secretary to the Government of India.
He did his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from University of
Roorkee, Roorkee and Master of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He joined Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) through Combined Engineering Services Examination 1976 batch.
He has worked on several important General Administration
assignments including General Manager/South East Central Railway, Additional General Manager/Eastern Railway, Senior Deputy General Manager/North Central Railway and Divisional Railway Manager/Varanasi. He also worked as Chief Electrical Engineer of South Western Railway/Hubli, North Central Railway/Allahabad and Central Organization for Railway Electrification/ Allahabad.
He has vast skill and experience in Railway Systems, Railway
Electrification, Electrical Traction Rolling Stock, Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Solar Energy, Energy Audits, Project Management, Contract Management, and Public Transport. He has also led several multi-disciplinary teams to achieve desired organisational goals.
Besides this, he has acquired training in Canada, Japan and USA on
computerization of Railways, Rolling Stock and Management respectively.
Shri Ramesh Singh Thakur
Shri Ramesh Singh Thakur is appointed as Judicial Member in Central Administrative Tribunal, Jabalpur Bench, Jabalpur, and has joined as such on 04.09.2017. Earlier he was working as Deputy Advocate General, State of Himachal Pradesh in the Hon’ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh at Shimla. He sought premature retirement w.e.f.31.08.2017 as Deputy Advocate General, State of Himachal Pradesh. He is permanent resident of Village Gadiara, Post Office Bhuthi Tehsil and District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. Upto 8 th standard he received education from Government High School Bhuthi Tehsil and District Kullu. Thereafter he passed his matriculation examination from DAV High School Shimla. Thereafter he passed his B.Sc. with medical subjects from Government college for boys Sanjauli, Shimla. Thereafter he passed his L.L.B. (Professional degree) from Himachal Pradesh University in the year 1984. Since 1984 he was actively practicing before the Hon’ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh till December 2008 as an advocate. His field of practice was in service matters, criminal matters and civil matters. He was selected and recommended by Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission for the post of Assistant Advocate General for State of Himachal Pradesh in the department of Advocate General and he joined as such on 30th December, 2008. On 29th February 2016 he was promoted as Deputy Advocate General, State of Himachal Pradesh and he was working as such till his premature retirement on 31.08.2017. He also remained as Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Himachal Pradesh in the Hon’ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh till his premature retirement. FORMER HON. VICE CHAIRMAN 1. HON.
