Mock Interview Reflection

Directions: Review the Mock Interview Critique Form completed by your teacher. Use the results to reflect on your experience by answering the questions below.

1. What steps did you take to prepare for the mock interview?

I practiced answering the interview questions that were given.

2. How did you feel while you were being interviewed?

Walking into the interview I was calm and wasn't nervous. I felt that I was blanking on a lot of questions that I knew the answers to.

3. Reflect on your actual responses. Did you feel your responses were adequate or could you have done better? Explain.

I felt that my answers were bare minimum and could greatly be improved with more practice.

4. What questions do you feel you answered well? Explain.

When I explained my strength, I answered well because I know that I am a good team player especially when it comes to working around and with multiple people at

a time.

5. What questions do you feel you could have answered better? How would you have answered them differently?

I could have answered all of the questions better. I could’ve added more to each question instead of keeping it one sentence.

6. What areas did your teacher mark as strengths?

My follow-up question, I was very honest, and spoke clearly

7. What areas did your teacher mark as needing improvement? In what ways do you plan to improve your performance in these areas?

I need improvements on giving more when answering the questions. I plan to improve on that by practicing the questions and going over my answers, so I sound

more confident when answering.
