on 2 North at Moffitt Cancer Center. After completing a rigorous four-year nursing program through the
University of South Florida with preceptorship experience in a cardiovascular progressive care unit

Graduating with a Bachelor’s in Nursing and completing over 600 clinical hours, I am firm in my ability
to provide quality patient care. I have ample knowledge of implementing countless skills under the
nursing scope of practice, including but not limited to the insertion, maintenance, and removal of
intravenous lines, urinary catheters, nasogastric tubes, and other devices. My skillset extends to include
attentive medication administration techniques and comprehensive patient teaching. After completing
numerous clinical shifts as a preceptee on a cardiovascular PCU, I am familiar with caring for critical
patients with cardiac drips. My ability of carrying out thorough head-to-toe assessments is strong and ever
evolving. I am adept at identifying concerning signs and symptoms and am aware of when to take action
and notify the provider.

During my employment history leading up to becoming a nurse, I acquired the qualities that will guide me
to become successful in my career. Beginning with my time at Dunkin’ Donuts, I learned the compassion
and empathy needed to work with both the people I supervised and the customers I served. There, I
developed my leadership skills by facilitating teamwork through innovative ways such as friendly
competition and establishing goals. At Busch Gardens, I valued the significance of safety as a top priority,
followed by an unparalleled park experience. Visitor education and advocacy are two additional
competencies I earned through this position. Through my engagement at Publix Supermarkets, I further
enhanced my tenderness towards people by striving to go above and beyond in my service, and with
attention to detail, ensured individual needs were met. Through the combination of my clinical and life
