MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY

My name is Samirah Sghayer Matibag Mahdi. I was born on May 01, 2001 at Auckland, New
Zealand. I’m twenty years old and at the same time twenty years in the grace of God. I live in
Caloocan City. I am an only child. My mother’s name is Stella Jane Mahdi and my father’s name
is Sghayer Khazaal Mahdi. I have two cousins named Sofia and Thea, living with me and I
consider them as my younger siblings.

I started to study when I was five-years-old. I went to nursery, kinder, preparatory, junior high
school in Holy Infant Montessori Center. Also, I went to senior high school in La Consolacion
College – Novaliches. I graduated there as I took the strand TECHVOC – ICT. I am now a
second year college student at University of Caloocan City Congressional Campus and currently
pursuing to graduate my bachelor’s degree in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (EMC)
in the near future. My favorite sports are badminton and swimming. When I have nothing to do, I
write songs and record them, I also write scripts and love to film my two cousins and pretend
that they’re in a series. I also love to read the bible to have a wide knowledge about the glory of
God. I also love to surf the internet and my favorite part about the internet is reading e-books in
Wattpad. My favorite movies are The In Between, Encanto, The Adam Project, The Greatest
Showman, Space Sweepers, Us, and Enchanted. When it comes to series, I watch episodes of
Stranger Things, Umbrella Academy, Outerbanks, Money Heist and Anne with an E. My
favorite colors are purple, pink, green, red and blue.

Life without having a purpose is unfulfilling. A life without a purpose is a life without a
destination. Also, life without God is nothing. I had low self esteem when I was bullied way back
elementary and high school, but when I pray and pray all the time, God gave me the courage to
forgive the bullies who bullied me before. There is this saying “forgive but don’t forget”. I never
forget those times that they bullied me as it gives me strength to be a better person and me being
proud of the best version of me. I face difficult times but He gives me strength, when I’m in pain,
He heals me. I am the girl who fears the Lord. I always sing worship songs when I attend church
every Sunday. Jesus never gives a problem without a solution that you can’t handle, because God
loves you so much even when you don’t love him. God will always be there no matter what
happens. Prayers do actually work and it serves as a miracle if you believe in the healing
existence of the Lord. Finally, I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
