Subject: - Action Plan on decisions taken in Principal’s Conclave.

This has reference to the e-mail dated 13.11.2018. The draft report of task force
committee is as follows:-

1. Rain Water Harvesting:-

At present the Institute has one No. rain harvesting system near the stadium. Five more
points for rain harvesting system are proposed to be constructed at the different site of the
Institute. The detail is as fallows:-
i) Near boundary wall of cycle/scooter shed
ii) Near boundary wall of old residential quarters
iii) Near boundary wall backside at the store
iv) Near boundary wall backside the canteen area
v) Near the STP backside of Girls Hostel
2. Uninterrupted power supply:-

For the uninterrupted power supply in the Institute, two Gensets250 KVA & 125 KVA
already installed in the Institute.

 The Institute is also pursuing for independent feeder direct to the Institute for
uninterrupted electric power supply through Punjab State Power Corporation
Limited (PSPCL) for 11 KVA substation.
3. Waste Management:-

Fully automatic Compost Machine (Micro-Organism Based) for organic & Kitchen
Waste

A compost machine (50 Kg/per day) for organic & kitchen waste has already been
installed in the Institute for kitchen waste etc.
4. Sewerage Treatment Plant:-

A Sewerage Treatment Plant (125 KL/day) installed in the Institute & it is working
properly.
5. Solar Power:-

For installation of solar power plant at least 100 KW on the different roofs of the Institute
the matter is already taken up with M/s Adira Infra and Power Pvt. Ltd. the technician of the Co.
was visited in the Institute and selected some sites for installation of solar power plant and the
detail proposal is awaited.
