Mini Project - IPM (15 Marks)

OVERVIEW: The Marketing Mix is a vital concept in marketing and one that forms the core of any
marketing plan. In this project, students integrate concepts from all the units learnt in

Objectives/Purposes: In this Project, students will: 1) Fundamental Analysis of companies which have
come for IPO in India in 2021.

Other Resources/Materials Needed: Students are expected to Refer to the Red Herring Documents
and do this Project.

Part 1: 10 Marks

Each student is expected to Study the company allotted to them using the following Parameters.

1. Students are expected to do a SWOT Analysis of the Allotted Company

2. Comment Briefly on the Macroenvironment in India at the time your Company was planning
its IPO
3. Students are expected to briefly identify 5 factors that contributed to the success/failure of
the IPO of the allotted company.
4. Students are to Briefly comment of the short-term performance of the company (Returns
generated by the company on Listing Day, 7 Days post Listing, 14 Days Post Listing and 28 Days
Post Listing)
5. By Referring to the Red Herring Document of the IPO Firm, Identify the Risk Factors that have
been highlighted by the company and what measures you would suggest the firm undertake
to reduce the impact of those risk parameters.
6. Comment on the Basis of Offer Price for the company allotted to you.
7. Comment of the Offer Structure of the company Allotted to you a how the IPO Proceeds will
be used by the firm.

Part 2: 5 Marks

1. You are to construct a Portfolio consisting of a Minimum of 4 Stock and Maximum of 10 Stocks.
For each of the stocks that has been allotted in your Portfolio, you need to justify its addition
by using Both Technical and Fundamental Factors. The time frame you need to consider is 1
Year. You are to write a brief report describing your portfolio and the rationale of adding the
stocks in your Portfolio.

Deadline: The entire report to be submitted on or before 10th April, 2022 typed in MS word, Times
Roman 12 font, double line spacing, justified with page borders and cover page (spiral binding is
mandatory)
