Question:

Write a two- or three- paragraph essay (250-350 words) reflecting on your learning experience in this
course. You can choose the items that are most applicable to your experience.

How far were you capable of

1- Improving writing skills to enable you to write in an advanced and academic level including the
following:

 Brainstorming/ Outlining ideas

 Proofreading
 Research
 Citing sources, Using APA reference style
 Proper formal and academic language
 Elaborating on ideas to address an academic audience.

2- Formulating own argument in writing using the elements of argument analysis: claim, position,
evidence, tone, appeal, logical fallacies etc...

3- Keeping the argumentative essay structure (intro including thesis statement, 2 body paragraphs
including topic sentences and evidence, a third body paragraph to refute, a conclusion including a call
for action).

4- Refuting by using the proper logic.

5- Finding relevant, updated and relevant sources

6- using the critical thinking skills you learned outside class.

7- Identifying points of strength and weakness of other people’s arguments/claims
