Meet the Teacher

Hello Families!

My name is Chelsea Heckman and I am so excited to be working with

your children in Mrs. Herb’s Kindergarten class this year! I am a
student teacher from Wilkes University and will be part of the class
until May 6th, 2022. We are going to learn new things, make wonderful
memories, and participate in adventures together! I would like for you
to know a little bit about me as we begin working together.

I am a new mommy to a beautiful baby girl who just turned four

months old! I am married to my husband, Anthony and we have a
three-year-old yorkie poo, Tinker. In my free time, I love baking,
singing, skincare and makeup, and playing games with my family. I am
an Early Childhood Education major at Wilkes University with a minor
in reading. I currently work for Head Start in the Allentown School
District and have been there for six years. I love helping children be
their best selves they can be and believe that every child deserves an
educational place where they feel safe and welcome.

I am so excited to work with and get to know your children. We are

going to have so much fun. I am here to learn, but also to support your
children academically, socially, and emotionally. I am looking forward
to working with all of you to best support your child’s needs. If you have
