How do you currently use
technology to engage
students in your classroom?

Discuss with colleagues: how are you currently using technology and student choice
to engage your students? We have discussed the idea of using technology and
student choice to increase engagement with weekly reflections. We will continue to
work on this today!
Flipgrid!
A video discussion tool used in educational setting.

FlipGrid is an educational tool that uses video discussion to engage students with
their peers and teacher. I have used this tool to introduce myself to incoming students
over summer, provide students with an opportunity to present projects and learning,
help students discuss ideas such as book reviews or science lessons, etc.
How do you envision using
video communication in
your classroom?

Now that you have heard more about what FlipGrid is, how do you envision using it in
your classroom? Brainstorm with a neighbor and then share out.
