ransportation contract;
moving on average 1 million gallons of fuel per day to locations in Kuwait and I
raq. Hired to develop,
implement, and manage all aspects of contract infrastructure. Responsibilities a
nd accomplishments include:
Increased initial $32 million contract to $65 million; including the increase o
f vehicle fleet from 400
tankers to 600 tankers in less than 7 months. Current fleet is 1037 contracted f
uel tankers.
Organized tanker logistics, developing and implementing all contract policies,
SOPs, forms,
communication networks, etc.
Primary project contact for US Military and US Civilian CORs as well as JTC Man
agement.
Conduct bi-weekly meetings with the 475th POLOPS and DESC offices
Ensured fuel quality stayed at 100%, accomplished by personal random visual tes
ting and inspections of
tanker fleet.
Completed and/or approved all project reports to Military and/or JTC Management
.
Manage/supervise staff of 491 company employees and 488 sub-contractor employee
s, write job
descriptions and hire and train managers/supervisors and clerical staff; oversee
and inspect living and
eating facilities on project compound.
Direct liaison with all subcontracting companies; coordinating subcontracted as
sets and employees.
Manage on-site and administered environmental clean up projects to Kuwait and U
.S. Army standards.
Troubleshoot day to day issues with operations manager, JTC finance as well as
the COR and QAR of
DESC; reporting findings to JTC General Manager.
Manage project inventories
Implemented border/immigrations policies
Travelled abroad on recruitment assignments (Sri-Lanka, Africa).
Other miscellaneous responsibilities.
Responsibilities regarding other JTC projects outside the DESC project include:
o Conduct information gathering for potential business
o Liaison with US Military on other Military contracts
o Assist with logistical issues pertaining to other contracts

Received, issued and maintained 100% accuracy account in bulk fueling. Submitte
d hundreds of
samples to laboratory for Millipore and Aquaglow testing on aircraft fuels for s
afety.
Maintained accurate account of all bulk fuel from Camp Doha to desert satellite
camps and Iraq.
Completed daily, weekly and monthly fuel reports which include DA-3643, DA3161,
and DA2765-1
reports. Organized and streamlined office procedures; improving efficiency and r
educing time
required to complete daily reports.
