___________________________PART I: ARTIFACT DESCRIPTION_________________________

Date of Activity: Months of March and April

Time of Activity: Various
Objective: To prepare for and administer EOPA exams for CTAE pathway
students to achieve credentials of value.
LKES Met: 1,3,4,5,7,8
Description of Task: I have budgeted for, purchased, planned for, and administered end of
pathway exams for all CTAE pathways in the school. I have set the
schedules associated and administered all required training.

___________________________PART II: ARTIFACT REFLECTION_________________________

Date of Reflection: 4/27/22

Time of Reflection: 8:00pm
Goal: To look back at the timeline used and determine if it gives student
appropriate preparation time for their end of pathway exams.
Level of Involvement: As CTAE director I soley budgeted for and purchased every EOPA we
have and will administer as a school system. I have done all scheduled
and trained all proctors. I have registered every student myself and
distributed all test materials.
What I Learned: I have learned that extensive planning is needed for the testing
process. I have learned how to better plan for this process prior to the
test season in order to avoid snags. I have learned how to train staff to
proctor exams and keep test materials secure. I have also learned how
to budget for and order correct amounts of testing materials.
Strengths and/or Challenges: I have become well versed in managing the CTAE budget and would
consider it a strength. I understand the different codes attached to the
account number and can navigate the ConApp tool that is required to
use state and federal funds. Finding the time to administer tests and the
people proctor tests during April and May is a challenge. School staff
is already stretched thin and are being asked to cover for other teachers
during this testing season.
Response of Others: Others seem satisfied with the job I am doing with EOPA testing. I

have been careful to avoid double booing any dates as to not pull
students from important classes for too much time before their EOCs.
Benefits/Contributions: The Work Based Learning coordinator has and will proctor the
majority of the large testing groups. All CTAE teachers has assisted in
providing and editing testing roster.
Further Efforts: I will continue to plan for testing sessions and will work to plan farther
in advance next semester. I will also continue to work with teachers to
factor in time needed to review before tests while balancing that
review time with time needed to cover the standards initially.
