but when it comes out of the oven it’s turned into the

Authentic Delft blue porcelain

Heinen Delfts Blauw started with a father and a son that painted and sold their porcelain
vases as a hobby. The quality of their products didn't go unnoticed and they bought
their jirst workshop in Amsterdam where they produced handmade Delft blue porcelain.
They controlled the entire process; mixing the clay, the glazing and the painting. The
company kept on growing and now has different workshops and stores in Delft and
Amsterdam and is one of the largest producers of authentic Delft blue products of The
Netherlands. Despite of their growth the family company still keeps every aspect of the
making process under one roof to guarantee the best quality possible.

Jorrit Heinen and his father Jaap started the
family company in the 70s as a hobby. They
both painted Delftware and opened their jirst
workshop in Amsterdam. The quality of their
products didn't go unnoticed and the
company grew fast.
Annette is responsible for the Etsy shop for
Heinen Delfts Blauw. Besides staying in touch
with our customers and selecting new
products from our collection for the Etsy
shop, she loves to write about our items that
all come with their own story.

Wilma Hamid
Master Painter Ceramic Technician

Wilma loves painting. No piece of pottery is
safe for this master painter. After graduating
at Royal Delft and having her own company
for 10 years, she ended up at Heinen Delfts
Blauw. When you order a customized
product, she is the one to paint it!
Hamid is our ceramic technician and he
knows everything about mixing the right
formulas for our clay, glazing and the exact
temperatures needed to produce Delft blue
products of the highest quality.
