General Characteristics:
The 15 students in Ms. Simpson’s class are in the age group of 9 years old. They come from different
backgrounds therefore their academic skills vary. As it related to their reading and writing skills they

Assessment of Learner Achievement
The teacher will observe and make notes of all the students that participated in the activities
throughout the lesson, at the end of the class, the teacher will ask each student to name 2 things that
they have learned from the lesson, those answers will be recorded for future reference.
The teacher will examine how beneficial was the use of the different media towards the lesson and if
students grasp content better that way than traditionally the teacher speaking and the students
listening and writing. Also, throughout the lesson, the teacher would have observed how well the
