DIRECTOR And we're rolling. Settle please.

TALENT 2 I'm ready for my close-up.

TALENT 1 Train in IBM Cloud. Get certified in IBM Cloud. Everybody's telling me that.
Like, all the time. But, if I'm honest, I don't know if it's worth all the effort.

TALENT 2 I first certified in IBM Cloud, what, like four, five years ago? Career-wise?
Best decision. Best. decision.

I'm an idea person. So, the path of training to become an IBM Cloud
Architect felt like the right direction for me. And now that I've been certified,
I’m more valuable to my company. Which means better projects, maybe
more money.

Just this level of trust and responsibility in my job I don't think I would have
been given otherwise.

TALENT 1 Okay, I do get it. But even if ultimately, it's a good move for me to get
certified, I'm still early in my career, and I don't want to lock myself into one
career path, you know?

For me, options are pretty crucial.

TALENT 2 Even though I pursued the cloud role training I did, if I was looking for
something else, or let's say I wanted to broaden my experience even still?
IBM's got all of these other role training paths.

So I could learn solution building as a Cloud Developer. Or I could lean into

my Type A tendencies training to be an SRE. Or even certify on how to keep
out the bad guys as a Cloud Security Engineer. You know, it's this whole
basket of choices I didn't see as much when I looked into other training
options.

Would I recommend people get IBM Cloud certified? Yes. Full stop. No
doubt.

TALENT 1 Now that I'm thinking about it, I should be looking into this, shouldn't I?
Yeah.

TALENT 2 This is fun. What else do you want to know?
