Emmy’s Academy, Roswell, GA
• Emmy’s Academy is an early intervention childcare center that provides childcare for
children from six weeks to six years of age. Emmy’s Academy accepts children with special
needs, and currently 93% of the children they serve have special needs.
• I provided childcare by performing tasks such as preparing meals, changing diapers, and
putting children to bed. I cared for children with a wide variety of chronic medical conditions,
so I performed medication administration, feeding and medication administration via
gastrostomy tube, and cleaning and application of medical devices such as helmets and ankle
foot orthoses.

COVID-19 vaccine clinic, St. John Cathedral, Tampa, FL October 30, 2021
• I administered the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson vaccines to roughly 50 people.
Volunteer shifts with BRAIN Fall 2021 – Spring 2022
• BRAIN shifts are where I volunteer to help USF nursing faculty teach USF nursing students
during the students’ lab and simulation experiences.
Poison Safety session Fall 2020
• I helped teach a virtual poison safety class to Spanish-speaking families in the Tampa area.
Assisted Living Activities 2019
• I organized and helped with activities for residents at an assisted living called Legacy Ridge
in Marietta, GA. I also helped with activities at Concordia Village of Tampa.
Respite Nights 2016 - 2018
• As a board member of my high school’s Interact club, I organized volunteer events with
Emmy’s Academy called Respite Nights, where parents of special needs children could have
the night off and the children could come play.
Alpha Phi Omega Spring 2019 – Spring 2020
• I was a member of APO, a service fraternity at USF, and took part in service events helping
local initiatives such as University Area CDC.
