PERCEPTION OF ONLINE CLASS ,TEACHER’S QUALITY ,SATISFACTION AND

PERFOMANCE OF STUDENTS DURING COVID19 PANDEMIC

INTRODUCTION . To minimize the impact of lockdown, medical schools had to find another
approach to teach medical students. Fortunately, current technology enabled electronic learning
(e-learning) to be the core method of teaching the curriculum during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Aim and Objective :To know the instructor’s quality, student expectations, satisfaction, and
performance after online classes during the pandemic time.

MATERIALS AND METHODS : This cross-sectional study was conducted among  200
students of health care institutes of Assam. A questionnaire was prepared online in google form on
different aspects of online classes  and was circulated in the whatsapp group

Data analysis: The results were analyzed blindly from the data generated for number and
percentage.

Result- there was network issue while attending online classes 48% students strongly agreed
that they engaged  to some other activities after they log in into online class  .28% students agreed
that online class was easier The present study’s findings showed that    63% student said that that the
presentation was audible .23% student agreed that there was economic  strain 48%
students agreed they engaged to while accessing40% the teacher was able to explain the
competencies student properly. 63% student agreed that to understand than the traditional offline
class.48% students  agree that teachers need more training to undertake online class..5% agreed
that time slot for online class was not convenient

CONCLUSION - Online classes also have limitations, including problems with internet access, poor
internet connection quality, and insufficient digital skills of the respondents. Some benefits
such as time flexibility can also be a limitation, especially for students who have difficulties with self-
discipline.[
