Omega and Knora really loved this book and thought it was funny at the end.
Pig the Pug by Aaron Blabey Omega caught onto the lesson very quickly about sharing and how bad things
Tier 2 Word: Loot can happen when we do not share. Knora did not seem as interested into the
Comprehension Strategy: Lesson Finding book as Omega was but she still listened and made comments about the
pictures and repeated some phrases that I said.

Ask them to write a sentence about what the lesson of the story Omega and Knora both wrote the entire sentence which was an improvement
was about. from what I've observed in Knora's notebook and heard of her writing skills.
Omega, Knora, and I walked through a good sentence to write and came up
Student Reads with, "Pig the Pug did not share".

"In the Clouds" Student Reads

Look through book and find words they know already. Omega and Knora did not enjoy reading together. I tried to instruct them to
Read story together once. each read a sentence and take turns. They started fighting who would go first
and then they both started reading at the same time. This is something I need
Word Study to work on with them and figure out a good system.

Omega, Knora, and I will be playing the game find the CVC
word. I have created flashcards with some pictures of CVC words
and small cards with CVC words listed. I will hand Omega and
Knora each a picture card. They will determine what the picture is
and then they will need to find the correct CVC word card to
match. Each card combination will be color coated, so Omega and
Knora can check their own answers.

Word Study
Omega and Knora are both very competitive, but they both work well. The
main issue I found during this activity is them trying to yell over the other
person and point to the word first so then they were getting a little out of
control. Knowing this, I plan to find some different activities that involve
them having their own paper.

We did not end up having enough time to read again this week.
