We are happy to present this SANGEETA BALA PADAM,

PART I consisting of Saralivarisai, Simple Shlokaas .set to tune and songs

upto the Geetam level.

An attempt has been made to bring ’this book as most handy for the
Music Beginners by presenting the TAALAAS in pictorial form and
Instructions are given to easily sing the Swaraavali in Rhythmic form.

This book will be very useful fqr the Beginners' of Karnatic Music
(Vocal & Instrumental). This book is dedicated to St. Purandaradasar who
is the Father qf Karnatic Music.

We are thankful to Carnatic Vocalist Shri. Chembai R. Vaidyanathan,

disciple of Shri. P.S. Narayanaswamy and Shri A. Raman Unni disciple of
