MY INSIGHTS
Mrs. Bercasio and Mrs. Sapaula's report titled "Uses of ICT in Teaching and Learning in
Basic Education" provided me with numerous insights and learning opportunities. Because
the use of ICT is so widespread in society, classrooms should not be left out, and they must
ensure that they take advantage of what it has to offer. Children and young people, on the
other hand, must be taught to use them consciously and safely. The educational sector must
take on the responsibility of gradually implementing all technologies that may benefit
student learning in some way, and ensuring that students learn how to use them in a world
where they are already a part of professional life and their social environment. ICT allows
teachers to interact with students more effectively. It assists them in planning their lessons
and providing feedback. It also aids in the efficient use of ICT software and hardware for
the teaching-learning process. The rapidly increasing use of technology in today's world is
compelling teachers to consider incorporating ICT into the classroom. ICT can be used as a
tool to motivate students to learn in a more effective and efficient manner.

ICT has infiltrated and transformed many aspects of our lives to the point where we now
live in a consumer-driven environment dominated by technology. Whatever perspective we
take on its presence, there is no denying that it is an important part of our lives and that it
is here to stay. ICTs will continue to play an important role in our future as they connect to
more and more aspects of our lives. It will continue to evolve and change because, as
consumers, we all like to have options. We enjoy using ICT for personal development,
creativity, and joy, as well as consumption and wealth. When it comes to my studies and
other matters, ICT makes my life so much easier and more comfortable for students like
me. ICT serves as a guide for students to learn 21st-century skills and to develop their ICT
capability and literacy, which raises attainment levels and prepares everyone for an
integrated society dominated by ICT developments. As a result, we learn about using ICT
as a tool for lifelong learning.
