Explanation: who, what, where, when, how, why they did what they do.

I want my students to be able to explain why they are doing things and be able to justify why.

Interpretation: Try not to look for just the right answer, but what seems to be important to the

students.

I would like students to be able to see more than just what the questions are asking and what can

be used with it.

Application: Connect the knowledge to the real world and how to find them in the world.

I want to be able to teach my students how to find what is the real world application of the work

that we do.

Perspective: Understanding why this is important and useful.

Being able to understand that there are many different ways to come up with the same answers.

Self Knowledge: Understanding your own failings and prejudices.

I would like my students to know that everyone has failed and helping each other out can help

improve the failings and create more learning opportunities.

Empathy: Understanding how other people see the information.

Understanding how others think about things can help you learn different perspectives.
