To the family of Levi Neely:

It has been a pleasure to work with Levi after school for the past month or so! I

have enjoyed getting to know him during our phonics tutoring sessions. Levi engaged

well in the lessons I prepared throughout our time together, and displayed a positive

work ethic as well as an enthusiasm for ready and learning. It is my hope this

enthusiasm only continues to grow!

Levi has demonstrated a growth in understanding of reading skills, particularly in

the areas of letter-sound associations & correspondences, vocabulary, and

comprehension. During our initial assessment in February, Levi’s scores placed him in

the intensive support needed category on the DIBELs assessment tool used to measure

his phonics abilities. His post assessment this April placed him at benchmark with his

kindergarten peers. I feel that Levi has benefited from our tutoring sessions, and I know

that I have certainly learned as an educator due to this experience. Thank you again for

allowing me the opportunity to work with Levi!
