In biology, there is what we call “recessive” and “dominant” traits. If a

gene is recessive, it is will unlikely to expressed physically, while
dominant traits have high possibility that it will me phenotypically
expressed. Due to the fact, that my grandparents and father are
Chinese, it is to be expected that they have the Asian Monolid Eyes,
which were inherited only by me. Both my elder sisters took over my
Mother’s eyes. It is possible that my father’s genes (monolid eyes)
were recessive because it did not show entirely on us, rather, it was
expressed by me.
