Notes for completion / Guidance

 Please complete a new line for each class, each day and each school – do not use ditto marks or arrows.
 Time should be worked and claimed in blocks of 15 minutes (0.25) only, unless by prior arrangement between the relevant school, yourself and Hannah Keohane.
 If your address or banking arrangements have changed, you will need to update your details in the ESS Lite online system.
 If claiming for non-teaching work e.g. attending CPD etc. fill in the date and put the title of the CPD in the School / Digital Ensemble / SMS column.
 Payday is the 15th of each month. If the 15th falls on a weekend or bank holiday etc. it will be the preceding Friday. If you are also employed separately by a Tri-
borough school, payday may be the same as for your school.
 There is no claim period in August. The December and March claim deadlines are 1-2 weeks earlier than the 25 th (date TBC nearer the time each year).

What can I claim?

 Additional time can be claimed in specific circumstances for PPA (planning, preparation and assessment) and setup, for whole-class and ensemble teaching – see
below for details.

 Tutors at Saturday Music Centre can claim 0.25 for setup / pack away time depending on individual timetables. Details are in the offer emails sent to Tutors before the
start of term. These should be claimed in the main Small Group Number of Hours column along with all your non-ensemble teaching hours for that day.

Leave Entitlement Pay

 Please note your basic hourly rates are £27 and £30 per hour but you are also paid Leave Entitlement Pay in lieu of annual leave, which does not apply to staff who
work term time only. Leave Entitlement Pay is 12.07% of all hours worked at £27 or £30 per hour, therefore your actual hourly rates are £30.26 (for work done at £27
per hour) and £33.62 (for work done at £30 per hour). Similarly, fixed amounts for attending CPD etc. are advertised as e.g. £75 to attend a whole CPD day in person
and would be paid as £66.92 + £8.08 Leave Entitlement Pay, or £25 for a workshop or part day which would be £22.31 + £2.69, for example.
Payslips / P60s / Changes of bank details
 The Tri-borough Music Hub has the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea as its lead borough for Payroll, who have outsourced this to Hampshire Council.
Payslips can be accessed via their ESS Lite online system. Please note the Music Hub does not have access to your payslips or P60s and cannot request these on
your behalf.
