3-7-2022 Time Extension Request
March 8, 2022
Dear Sir:
First and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to bestow thanks to the
technical staff of the MORESCO-I for assisting and facilitating the construction
progress of the project. We are very grateful to be part of your vision towards 100%
percent of total electrification in every community of Misamis Oriental.
Recently, due to the devastation brought by typhoon 'Odette' where the majority of
the distribution lines of the local electric cooperative in the nearby affected areas,
was seriously destructed especially in Surigao del Norte. Hence, one of the
challenges that we are facing as of this moment as a constructor, is the drastic
impact of the availability of the pole and pole line materials in our current suppliers.
Further, we also experience difficulties in inaccessible roads due to heavy rainfall
that hampers the delivery of our line materials. Our technical personnel introduces a
manual labor force in the dragging of poles just to fasten the construction progress,
but this is not enough to fully accomplish the project. However, an additional
workforce was added to the area just to cope up our delayed progress. In this
regard, may I seek your full-hearted consideration to allow us for a 60 days’ time
extension. Rest assured that we will provide reliable service in the completion of our
project.
Sincerely,
LEAH O. CABANBAN
