Domain: Geometry K.G Cluster/s: •Identify and describe shapes (squares, circles, triangles,
rectangles, hexagons, cubes, cones, cylinders, and spheres). •Analyze, compare, create,
and compose shapes.
Children will expect to learn shapes as they take the components of the bus and put them
together. Then they will learn to identify the shapes to the parts of the bus.
I will explain what the different shapes are and then compare them to the illustration of the
bus within the book. Then I will teach them how to use the scissors to cut the different shapes
out of the paper.
5. Closure: (2 points)
Students will compare their busses to their classmates busses and then point out what each
shape is.
