Work team: Sales Team (Worlducation)
My role in the team would be the role of team Sales Manager, the other team members are sales
representatives. The other team members in this project are Student1, Student2 and Student3.

Roles of the Team members:


Role of the Sales Manager:
Sales manager is responsible for setting targets, setting plans and executing those plan with the help of
sales team to increase sales. The sales manager is also responsible to motivate the sales representatives
for their roles. The sales manager also need to work on increasing the sales team.
Role of the sales representatives:
The role of three sales managers is to generate sales leads, communicate the marketing communication
on personal level to the prospective customers and convert the sales leads into sales. The sales
representatives also need to make sure that the sales are properly recorded in the ERP system of the
company.
Purpose of the Team
The major purpose of the team is to generate more sales, connect with more prospective consumers and
expand the market of the company making sure that the company is able to make at least 10 percent
profit.

Tasks to be done:
- Collaborate with the marketing team and get information about prospective consumers
- Collaborate with the marketing team regarding the marketing communication in order to make
sure that the prospective consumers are communicated what the marketing team has decided on.
- Talk with the prospective consumers, let them know about offerings of the company, its benefits
and try to make sales
- Follow up with the leads and try to convert them into consumers.
- Keep record of the sales in the company ERP
Tasks allocated to the each team members:
The task assigned is based on the capability and experience of the team members.
Student1 is more proficient with foreign languages. So, when the prospective consumers are from
countries where English is not spoken often, he takes those assignments.
Student2 is a new member to the team requiring more experience, thus, she is given more easier tasks
such as contacting the new prospective consumers and talk to them about the prospective benefits of the
system to them.
Student3 is more experienced, so he is given tasks such as talking with the leads and dealing with the
big consumers.
Timeline:
Since the tasks to be done in this team need to be done in continual basis, setting the timeline would not
be relevant for those tasks.
KPI for each team members:
Sales Manager: The increase in sales volume
Sales Representative 1: New customer generated and new sales made in the foreign nations where
English is not spoken
Sales Representative 2: New leads generated
Sales Representative 3: New sales made to the existing customers and conversion rate of the sales
lead to sales
