1)Automated Hydroponic Drip Irrigation Using Big Data ,Akhil Ani, Prakash Gopalakirishnan of computer science engineering

department from Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru.

 In year 2020, the system is used to record the sensor values and can manipulate the nutrient values when
required.
 This work is all about the drip control and applying it to hydroponic farming by developing an interface
between human and software which allows a continuous monitor of pH and all sensors, including the position of
the plant by capturing via camera and monitoring via mobile application.
 Using big data, the supply of nutrient values gets tracked and recorded. This recorded data gets useful to
automate the irrigation system further.

2)Automated Hydroponics with Remote Monitoring and Control Using IoT, Dr. Asawari Dudwadkar1, Tarit Das, Sakshi
Suryawanshi, Rajeshwari Dolas, Tejas Kothawade Assistant Professor, Undergraduate Student,
Department of Electronics Engineering, V.E.S. Institute of Technology Mumbai, India .(june 2020)

 The most important ideology behind this project was to collectively use the Greenhouse Principle and
Principle of Nutrition Film technique in Hydroponics to maximize the growth of plants.
 in order to make this worth executing in our daily lives, we worked on developing a system which was
Closed and Self Sustainable Where Parameters can be monitored easily Supported Hydroponics.

3) Enhanced Hydroponic Agriculture Environmental Monitoring: An Internet of Things Approach , Gonçalo Marques, Diogo
Aleixo and Rui Pitarma, Polytechnic Institute of Guarda – Unit for Inland Development, Av. Dr. Francisco Sá Carneiro(2019)

 HydroIoT is composed of a prototype for data collection and an iOS mobile application for data consulting and
real-time analytics.
 The collected data is stored using Plotly, a data analytics and visualisation library. The proposed system
provides not only temporal changes monitoring of light, temperature, humidity, CO2, pH and
electroconductivity but also water level for enhanced hydroponic supervision solutions.
 The HydroIoT offers real-time notifications to alert the hydroponic farm manager when the conditions are not
favourable. Therefore, the system is a valuable tool for hydroponics condition analytics and to support decision
making on possible intervention to increase productivity.

4) IMPLEMENTATION OF IoT AND MACHINE LEARNING IN HYDROPONICS Sumedha Bhatt Student, Devaj Mody Student, Rohan
Rao Student, Prof. T. Vijayetha ,Assistant Professor, MPSTME November 2018

 The first part is the detection sensors which include air temperature, humidity, PH, water temperature, and
ultrasonic sensors.
 The second part covers the control system which is implemented using IoT. The role of the control system is
to manage plant growth by monitoring the values from the sensors.
 The last part focuses on selecting a machine learning algorithm to quantify plant growth. Artificial Neural
Network (ANN) was considered for the same since it gives the best results.

5) SMART HYDROCULTURE CONTROL SYSTEM BASED ON IOT AND FUZZY LOGIC, Herman and Nico Surantha
Computer Science Department, BINUS Graduate Program – Master of Computer Science
Bina Nusantara University.( July 2019)
 With the use of IoT in this research, nutrition,pH management, and temperature can be controlled easily.
 This research also uses fuzzy logic to make the decision making in the control system more efficient and precise. The
results of experiments with bok choy and lettuce indicate that the system automatically measures the nutritional
value and pH according to the time specified.
 the system will immediately adjust the value of nutrient content and pH within the specified range.
Smart control system shows better plant growth which can be seen from the growth of the leaves’ width, length and
plant’s height.
