1. Reasons for application for admission to the University
Because I intend to pursue a career in Computer Science, I see the University of Aizu as the Holy Grail of education. Offering a world-class curriculum that conforms to international standards and conducting the top-down education that allows students to be involved in the world's latest research by joining projects with other institutions, the University of Aizu would provide me the confidence of knowing that I would be getting the most forward-focused education in Computer Science. Moreover, foreign faculty members and excellent English language education create an ideal international environment that fosters an international mindset.
2. Subjects the applicant wishes to study at the University
I want to apply computers to various fields, including business, medicine, education, environment, and space exploration. Therefore, I choose Applied Information Technology (IT-SPR/IT-CMV) as my specialization when I study at the University of Aizu. By participating in this program, I wish to study all the core subjects specialized in my major, including Computer Graphics, Image Processing, Robotics and Automatic Control, Human Interface and Virtual Reality, Geometory for Visual Computing, Information Retrieval, and Natural Language Processing, etc. Furthermore, because this field needs a wide range of knowledge not limited to just computer science and engineering, I will take some courses in the Humanities and Social Sciences category such as Constitution of Japan, History and Culture of Aizu, and Economic Development to develop into members of society with a rich sense of humanity capable of life-long active learning.
3. Plans after graduation from the University
After graduation, I desire to go beyond the horizon and acquire knowledge at a higher level. Therefore, I intend to apply for a scholarship to study Master program in a foreign country. Concurrently, I will actively participate in some activities to promote and deliver this amazing program to more students who are also talented and wish to become professors. In the long run, excellent transferred students can enormously contribute to the cooperation between Vietnam and Japan not only in education but also in many other aspects.
