I want to be a Teacher

I decided to be a teacher for so many reasons first because I love working with

children and teaching is one of my passions. Childrens are very funny,

smart,spontaneous, and they love learning.

I am from Mexico, my father's side of the family majority of them are teachers in all

educational levels, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, elementary, middle school, highschool,

and a few teaching in the University of Baja California. I was working in Mexico as an

assistant in an elementary school for 3 years, from that time to now the system is different

from learning and technology as well. I grew up with my father as a role model in

education. Guess being a teacher is one of the most important things that I would like to

do in a professional way. The best part of my childhood was my dad always teaching us

my sisters and me the value of education and hard work, always pursuing,encouraging,

and creating a better life for us and for the others, who are in need.

I remember when I was a kid, my cousins, sister and I, we play school, I was the

teacher and they were the students, we have a class outside in the patio course, we used

my daddy chalk and we used a cardboard for me to use like a board, I give them

homework, detention, recess, our grandmother made food snacks for us with a delicious

horchata, they said to us that they prefer look us playing in the patio than on the outside

losing our time. What a time to remember, wonderful, but I decided to become a teacher.
