Human Growth and Development Reflection

In indicating human growth and development, I learned a lot of new and very useful information
because this course was helpful as a lot of it related directly to our life and was beneficial to step back
and analyze it and I learned that people need to understand where they belong and where their life
begin. It is helpful to have an idea of what expect and have a guideline of normal development.

I realized that life is never a material; it is a substance to be molded. In studying human growth
and development is an endlessly fascinating because it is the study of real lives in our everyday. Every
human are came from biological organism that grows, acts, reacts, and learns. We adjust to the situation
as a whole. Whatever the situation come, we react to it in different ways depending upon the
interaction of several forces that affect us with varied impact.

In trying to understand ourselves, it is always illuminating to see how we got that way. We will
know how our behavior develops through the process of maturation and how the heredity and our
environment contribute to us in making what we are today.

As a student, it reaffirms to me how useful this knowledge is and how much it applies to our
lives and the lives that we come into contact with.

Overall I enjoyed retaining much of the knowledge I gained. In conclusion I believe that every
parent should be required to participate in some sort of human growth and development. It would be of
great benefit not only to the family, but the populace as a whole.
