DADDY’S EULOGY

The demise has left me with yet another shock. I know for sure that death
is certain but its time not the certain it is the most challenging reality of
life. We must accept the deep sense of loss that comes with it.

I am here today to pay my last respects and to say my final good byes to
My Dad. I have to admit at the onset that it is very difficult to do this. The
difficulty is not just due to the obvious causes like the sadness, the grief,
and the sense if loss. Nor is it due to the confrontation with death in its
utter finality and the resulting fear regarding ones own mortality.

I pray to God to give me the strength to bear this loss. The man who had
the most influence on the man I became today poured away at 101.

I also admire him because of the kind of father he was to us. He also
instilled in us a core value system that defined who he was. He was a man
who kept his promises and honored commitments. He was a man of
integrity.

No doubt he touched the lives of many people. Your life on earth viewed
from all, remains real personification of peace, courage and determination.
Indeed, posterity can easily testify that you left traces of characteristics
worthy of emulation.

You were a devoted Christian and your Catholic faith was very strong. You
were a Knight of St. Mulumba and a member of numerous Catholic
Organization/societies that reflected a lot of Honours and Awards.

He was an irreplaceable community leader. He devoted his life for the

needy, motherless, fatherless and a host of other people in difficulties.

I will miss you Papa, you were the source of my convictions and
inspiration. The man I loved so much and looked up to is gone forever.
My wonderful Father, my best Friend, My HERO!

May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

Adieu Papa.

Your Son
Chief (Sir) Jude Nnamdi Maduike.
