• Accounts which are unpaid thirty (30) days after the invoice date will be subject to an interest charge of
1.5% per month on the unpaid balance.
• Payments made by credit cards greater than 10 days from invoice date will be subject to a 3% service
charge. Payments made by credit cards less than or equal to 10 days after invoice date will not incur the
service charge.

INFORMATION
Freight Terms
• All shipments are freight-on-board (F.O.B.) factory, Chicago, IL

• Responsibility for freight transfers from Americomp to purchaser once shipment leaves factory
• All shipments are sent freight charges collect or freight prepaid with approved credit.
Freight Carriers
• Please inform us of your preferred carrier with whom you have an account
• Americomp will make reasonable efforts to use your preferred carrier
• If you do not have a preferred carrier, we will choose one and assist you in setting up an account
Damaged Freight
IMPORTANT NOTICE
• Examine contents of all packages received for damage. If the carton shows signs of damage, make a notation
on the delivery receipt and request an inspection by the freight carrier.
• If the damage cannot be detected until the package is opened, call the freight carrier for an inspection and get
a concealed damage order report.
• Claims for damage, visible or concealed, must be filed by the purchasing dealer. Americomp cannot assume
responsibility for loss or breakage in transit.
• If Americomp is required to file a claim, a $200 service charge will be billed to the dealer. This service does
not guarantee payment of claim by the carrier.

INFORMATION warranty on systems and generators.
General Equipment Warranty
Please refer also to the Returned Goods Policy (page D9) for information and procedures to return products to
Americomp.
New equipment manufactured by Americomp is warranted for five (5) years from the invoice date as follows:
• Any part proving defective will be repaired or replaced free of charge, F.O.B. factory, if the defective part is
returned for inspection, freight charges prepaid.
• This warranty covers parts only.
• Americomp reserves the right to fulfill warranty requirements with new or refurbished components that meet or
exceed current product performance and specifications.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply to:
• Any labor costs

• Collimator glassware
• Fuses
• X-ray tubes (see Extended Vended Product Warranty)
• Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect or shipping
• Service performed by persons other than authorized Americomp dealers or representatives
• Equipment, if interconnected with components not sold by Americomp and/or not approved by Americomp for
compatibility
• Certain vended products (see Vended Product Warranty)
This warranty is not transferable to a new owner unless authorized by Americomp in writing. Refer to Returned
Goods Policy for further details regarding shipping charges.
Warranty Replacement Parts
Any part shipped during the warranty period to correct a failure under warranty is warranted only for the unexpired
term of the warranty of the original product. Americomp reserves the right to fulfill warranty requirements with new
or refurbished components that meet or exceed current product performance and specifications.

Non-Warranty Replacement Parts
Non-Warranty parts purchased from Americomp are warranted for six (6) months from the invoice date and are
subject to the conditions of the General Equipment Warranty. Americomp reserves the right to fulfill non-warranty
requirements with new or refurbished components that meet or exceed current product performance and
specifications.
Vended Product Warranty
Unless specifically stated otherwise, vended products listed below will carry only the warranty of their respective
manufacturer and are subject to the conditions of the General Equipment Warranty:
• X-ray tubes purchased loose

• AEC ion chambers and logic
• 150 kV rated high voltage cables and collimators
• Overhead tube support - one year parts
• 36” reciprocating buckys
• Radiographic accessory items carry the warranty of their respective manufacturer for one (1) year from their
invoice date except for the following:
Apron sets, gloves, half apron and gonadal shields are warranted for two (2) years, and are subject to
the conditions of the General Equipment Warranty.
Extended Vended Product Warranty
Americomp extends original manufacturer’s warranty on x-ray tubes purchased with Americomp x-ray systems.
X-ray tubes will carry a five (5) year pro-rated warranty, from the date of invoice.

GOODS POLICY Use our fax order form.
All Returns
All returned goods:
• Must have verbal authorization in the form of an R.G. authorization number. Call Customer Service to
obtain an R.G. number.
• Must be returned freight prepaid. Any freight sent collect will be refused or rebilled to the sender.
• Must be returned with 60 days of shipment of replacement part. All returnable items held by the dealer
over 60 days will be considered an open invoice.
Cancelled Orders or Misorders

Upon inspection by Americomp or by the supplier of resale items, credit will be issued less the larger of
the following:
• The charge for repair or refurbishment
• 10% of the original invoice
• $50 handling charge
Warranty Items
Upon inspection by Americomp or supplier of the product, credit will be issued as follows:
• Manufacturing defect - full credit for the returned item
• Not a manufacturing defect - Americomp will issue credit as stated in Cancelled Orders or Misorders of
this policy
Freight
• All items must be prepaid. Any freight sent collect will be refused or rebilled to the sender.
• Warranty items will be shipped by routine ground service and the dealer will be billed for freight. Any
premium shipping service expense is the responsibility of the dealer.
• Warranty items returned for credit within sixty (60) days of the replacement part invoice date will get
credit for the routine outbound freight.
• Any part returned after sixty (60) days will not receive any credit for freight.
Shipping Damage
• Shipments are F.O.B. Americomp dock.
• Purchasing dealers are responsible for filing claims when shipping damage occurs.
• If Americomp is required to file a claim, a $200 service charge will be billed to the dealer. This service
does not guarantee payment of claim by carrier.

SPECTRA 30HF AP Radiographic Generator

Superior images in less time and with greater accuracy are the benefits provided by the SPECTRA
30HF AP generator. This versatile unit allows the operator to choose from AP, manual or optional AEC mode.
The AP mode offers consistent, effortless radiography by fast, automatic technique selection in just three easy
steps:
1) Select the anatomical region. 2) Select the radiographic view. 3) Enter the patient’s thickness. The
operator has complete control to modify any technique factor or parameter, and save the changes to memory.
Customized AP menus and parameters can be saved using the APR memory card.
The manual mode allows the operator to select only the kVp and mAs factors, and the SPECTRA 30
HF AP will automatically select the highest mA station and the shortest exposure time.
The optional AEC (automatic exposure control) automatically terminates the exposure at the exact mAs
required for a superior image every time. AEC is operational in either AP or manual. When ordered with a

The SPECTRA 30HF is a high frequency generator that delivers the benefits of reduced patient
exposure, maximum diagnostic film quality and extended tube life. Rated 300 mA at 100 kVp, the SPECTRA
30HF has enough power to reduce patient exposure by 50% or more when compared to single phase

• ESTIMATED HOLDING FORCES FOR COMMON MATERIALS
1. A 1/4" lag bolt with 2-1/2 inches of thread engagement into construction grade wood provides
approximately 500 pounds of pull-out strength.
2. A bolt and 1/2" expansion anchor with two inches of embedment in 300 psi concrete
provides approximately 500 pounds of pull-out strength.
• FLOOR CONSIDERATIONS FOR ALL TUBESTANDS
1. The floor must be level in all directions, or the floor rail must be shimmed to level.
2. For tubestands, carpeted flooring is not recommended.If carpeting cannot be avoided, remove
the padding beneath the floor track.The majority of the weight of the tubestand is felt at the
front of the rail. As a result of carpet compression, it may be necessary to shim the front of the
floor track slightly to maintain a track which is level front-to-back.To prevent pulling a
"runner" in the carpet when drilling holes for mounting, cut the carpet at the edge of the floor
track or burn a pilot hole through the carpet with a large tip soldering iron.
• FLOOR CONSIDERATIONS FOR ALL TABLES
1. Floor must be level in all directions. Leveling feet provided with tables are not intended
to correct for severe floor irregularities. The table is to be bolted to the floor.
2. For tables, carpeted floor may be used. However, to prevent pulling a "runner" in the
carpet when drilling holes for mounting, cut the carpet or burn a pilot hole with a large
tip soldering iron.
• WALL MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS
A construction grade 2 x 6, mounted flush or externally to the finished wall, with the top
surface equal to the minimum ceiling height will provide sufficient coverage for the upper rail
wall mount brackets. If no supporting board is used, the wall mount brackets must be lag
bolted to wooden wall studs for sufficient holding force. Each bolt must be capable of a
minimum of 500 pounds pull-out force.
