IDENTIFYING PROBLEMS

We're exchanging opinions when we have a small conversation about what topic or which kind of
community service we would like to make a plan for or when we have been given a chance to do it in
action, not just a plan. The first thing in each community that we tackle is getting an education for all the
street children here in San Juan City. We share our knowledge with them by teaching arithmetic,
analyzing the different colors, basic English, and how they will treat other people in a respectful way.
However, maybe we weren't knowledgeable enough to teach them, so we decided to shut it down and
proceeded to the next topic. Secondly, our perspective is to serve some pastries here in San Juan for
those owners that are lacking crew. It helps a lot for owners who struggle to find a crew. The next topic
we want to address is providing free breakfast in one of San Juan's barangays, which we will do house to
house. In addition, we also think about giving school supplies to the nursery, for instance, books, paper,
pencils, and colors for each student. We will find one school that deserves to receive our project. We
also wanted to give some clothes that did not fit us to those homeless people that we see in the street
when we are outside our house. Giving vegetables in our community also comes to our mind since one
of our groups has land that is full of beans and bitter gourd. Lastly, serving our community to clean the
barangay Salapan here in San Juan, is the plan that we want to put all our power into to make this plan
or activity become successful. All the materials that we will use in this project our group has the power
to provide, and, of course, we will provide a permission letter to Barangay Salapan to support our
project. Furthermore, this is the project that we will conduct many people to help us make this project
possible.

REFLECTION

Working as a team is not new to me, and working as a team is nice. We're exchanging different ideas;
we communicate; we learn; and the important thing is that we're giving support to each other. I'm
thankful for my groupmates now. We have unity in this project. We did it like you were going to tell us
that we would do it in person. That's why the idea, expenses, and place We planned it as if we would
actually do it. Our plan is to maintain the cleanliness here at Salapan, San Juan City. We chose it since
this is the biggest barangay here in San Juan. We are aware that this activity will torture us, but we know
that this activity is the way or the chance to help and maintain the cleanliness of our community. Many
people don't take care of our community. They don't have time to care for it, and it's possible they
didn't even clean their own house every day due to work or other responsibilities. Honestly, I love
helping people. Every time that the homeless please me to give them money, I always give them 20 or
10 pesos, but most of the time when we go out and we still have food, I'm going to give it to someone
who will knock on our door, because for me, giving food is better than money. I also remember when I
was in grade 11, we had a project to make a free almusal for all the kids in our barangay and I'm the one
who made it. Seeing kids happy to your kindness was heart-felt for me. When we started to clean all of
the things that we used on that project, my tears slowly fell down. I can't believe what I did. I made
many kids happy and full that time. When it comes to helping people, I'm really going on it. I even
assisted with the pastries for a crew. I'm so happy that I was given a chance to have a good heart and am
willing to help someone who needs help. I'm grateful that I am me.

I'm the person who's in charge of giving a list of problems here in our community, and I'm the one who
prepares the letter and also the curriculum vitae. The time frame for giving a problem here in our
community is very short. I can count on my hands since the Mayor of our city is responsible for his job.
He always showed up and he always did his best. For the preparation of the permission letter, I don't
have experience doing it in my past school years. I don't have a chance to give business subjects. That's
why I'm not sure if it will be okay for everyone who receives it, but I'm hoping that our captain in our
barangay will love it. We often see the curriculum vitae is for when you conduct studies. It's a simple
work for me in this plan, which is why it's not included in my stress.
