By: Rahmat Wibowo (2013011066)

The term management is derived from the Latin word manus, which means "hand,"
and the Italian word mangier, which means "to control." In English, the term management is
derived from the word manage, which means "to manage."

As a result, management necessitates a basic understanding of concepts, the ability to

comprehend situations, conditions, and existing human resources, as well as the ability to
think of the best way to carry out interrelated activities in order to achieve goals. In essence,
human activity is to regulate (manage) to manage here requires an art, how about others
require work to achieve a common goal.

The word "management" conjures up images of offices and business. So don't

diminish the importance of management science for students, as it can help them develop a
tenacious and conscientious personality, improve their communication skills, and improve
their problem-solving abilities.

However, students who focus on management science are expected to graduate with
strong leadership, organizational, and ethical skills, making them valuable assets in jobs that
require collaboration and proper organizational management.

In addition, there are several benefits of studying management science for business
students:

• Helping students make better strategies by using a more systematic, logical, rational
approach to strategic choices.
• Enhance students' awareness of external threats so that we can become accustomed to
making alternative plans in the event of unwelcome external events.
• Empowers students to identify, prioritize, and maximize opportunities for solving
problems and making decisions.
• Students can better represent the framework for everyday control activities that can
help us organize our activity plans.
• Students devote fewer resources and time to correcting incorrect or unplanned
decisions.
• Students can create an internal communication framework with their peers.
• Assist us in integrating our individual actions into groups or groups.
• Because we learned to analyse plans while studying management, it encourages us to
think about the future.
• Makes us more cooperative, integrated, and enthusiastic about solving problems and
taking advantage of opportunities.

In conclusion, studying management science teaches us that humans have very limited
abilities and that we must devise strategies to overcome these limitations by utilizing the
resources available to us. However apart from that, management helps us to be more
organized in our daily lives, whether it's time management, financial management, or
other types of management.
