I. Project Title: Food Waste Segregation

II. Project Proponent: Fish Product Packaging Students

III. Project Rationale:

In accordance with the mission-vision of RNTVS, this project will help to reduce the

food waste regarding the Fish Product Packaging and also the cleanliness and

awareness among students about Food Waste Segregation.

IV. Project Objectives:

 To promote awareness among students about Waste Segregation

 To maintain the cleanliness and environment-friendly in the school premises

 To reduce the waste in the surroundings and ensure the health of every

individuals.

V. Project Description:

This project will be attained through the assistance of our Class Officers in Fish

Product Packaging (FPP), volunteered students, respective teachers, faculty and

staff. With the initiative of students, they will be required to bring disposable gloves,

mask and garbage bags that will be needed in the activity.

VI. Project Duration:

 The volunteered students and teachers will start picking waste on August 14,

2021(Saturday) 8 am to 11:30 am in the school, barangay, and community.


VII. Target Beneficiaries:

The greatest number of garbage bags full of segregated food waste will receive

incentives from Fish Product Packaging Officers and Supreme Student Government

(SSG) after the activity has been finished. The collected waste will be dumped in the

barangay public trash or in the landfill.

VIII. Proposed Budgets:

There won’t be any money involved because it’s a free activity that has its purpose

which is to reduce waste in the environment.

IX. Monitoring and Evaluation:

The project/ activity will be over all managed by the Fish Product Packaging Officers

and Supreme Student Government (SSG). And also with the assistance of

respective teachers and faculty in the school.
