Tick the checkbox in the “hide” list to select an alarm info. ; click “ ”to select all the alarm info. ;

click “ ” to cancel selections. To save the selected alarm info. and exist, click “ ”, or

click“ ” to exit directly.

Once you save the settings successfully, the selected alarm info. will not be displayed on the Alarm
Information screen even though the test command sending process triggers the corresponding alarm.

‫م‬The button“ ”will be hidden unless you login the system as an administrator.
‫م‬All the alarms shown in the Alarm Information Se tting screen are warning level, you can select the
alarm as requires.

5.8 Manual item setup

“Manual item” means the test is not processed in the analyzer, but to add the result by handwork in “test
result” block.
Single-click “Manual Item” key to setup the item short form, item name, item unit, reference range.
Single-click “Add” to save parameter after setup as Figure 5-8-1 shows.

Single-click “Close” to exit.
(1)Input the manual item short form in the “Test Item” functional block.
(2)Input the manual item name in the “Test Full Name” functional block.
(3)Select the manual unit in the “Unit” pull-down menu.
(4)Input the manual item reference value range in the “Reference” functional block.
(5)To modify item contents, single-click the item to be modified. Reset the information input box. Then, click
the “Modify” key.
(6)In order to delete the set information, single-click the set information in work area, single-click “Delete”
key.

5.9 Host communication setup

Host communication setup is needed in system setup interface for the online between the analyzer and other
LIS systems. Standard RS-232 serial communications is adopted, and the ASTM1394 protocol standards are
obeyed as Figure 5-9-1 shows:

Figure 5-9-1
(1)Open Communication: Select this option, start communications with the LIS communication, whereas, LIS
communications fails.
(2)Bidrectional: Select this option to fulfill bidirectional communications with the LIS.
(3)Simplified mode: Data transmission and transmission frequency can be reduced in terms of effective
bidirectional communications.
(4)Send QC Result To LIS: Select “ ”, the QC result will be transmitted to LIS system
automatically during QC test.
(5)Data transmission mode: Two modes, realtime mode, namely, when all the items of each sample are
completed, real-time transmission is carried out in the unit of sample, batch mode, namely, batch manual
transmission can be only conducted after the completion of the result.
(6)Gather sample mode: Only used for bidirectional communications. “Sample No.” conducts sample
registration based on the only index number, serial number of sample. “Sample ID (Barcode)” conducts
sample registration based on the only index number, sample barcode, whereas, this mode requires selecting
sample barcode used by equipment in the “Other Setup” of system Settings.
(7)Sample save mode: Only used for bidirectional communications. “First analyzer” means that the registered
sample will be taken for storage when the sample applied at the side of LIS exists at side of the analyzer,
which will not be registered. “First host” means that the sample applied at the side of LIS exists at side of the
analyzer will be taken for storage, which will replace the registered sample.
(8)Analyzer ID: It is used for communications mark in the transmission with LIS.
(9)Host ID: It is the LIS system mark of communications with analyzer.
(10)Serial port: Serial number of communications can not use serial port 1. No default value requires user to
set up according to the actual situation.
(11)Baud Rate: Select the serial baud rate of communications among 4800,9600,19200.
(12)Data Bits: Select the data bit of communications at 7 or 8.
(13)Stop Bits: Select stop bit of communications at 1 or 2.
(14)Parity: Select the communication parity bit among N, M, E, O, S.
(15)Timeout retry time: Free time can be set for interval time.
(16)Timeout retry count: Overtime and retry times can be set.
