Name of The Activity: Hints

Procedure:

The teacher divides the students into groups of four or five. Each group considers a word from
their first language, such as a national dish's name. The group then produces one sentence to
describe the word for each learner in the group. The learners then say the sentences, and the
group that correctly guesses receives points. If the answer cannot be predicted after all of the
sentences have been stated, the team that created the sentences loses points.

EXAMPLE

Std 1 in the first group: It is a dish that is eaten by using chopsticks.

Std in the other group: Sushi!

Std 1: You are right!

Teacher: 5 points for the first group.
