SPEECH TOPIC: WHY SHOULD WE LEARN FOREIGN LANGUAGE?

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
First of all, let's pray and thanks the Almighty, Allah SWT who has given us
mercy and blessings so we have a chance to join this great event.
Syawalat and salam we also like to say to our beloved prophet, Muhammad SAW.
Our role model, the perfect human being that has ever existed in the world.
The honorable judges, the honorable comitees, audiences and my beloved fellow
students.
Ladies and gantlemen,
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Fadhil Rahmat Hibrizi. Today I
would like to deliver a speech with the topic: Why should we learn foreign
language?
Ladies and gentlemen,
The Industrial Revolusion 4.0 forces us to be able to use multi languages. The
development have affected the way people socialize, not only direct dialog but we
also can communicate in online way. That is why, it is not impossible to interact
with people from all over the world by using foreign languages.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Skills in using foreign language are mandatory, especially to communicate with
others. Moreover for the students like us, using the foreign language can increase
our skills. Learning the foreign language can be the plus point for our future that
will lead us to the wide-open career opportunities. Mastering multi languages,
especially English gives us many chances to continue our studies abroad.
Ladies and gentlemen,
There are reasons why we need to learn foreign languages. First, uttering the
foreign languages improves the function of our brain cells. Our brains are
challenged to recognize, interpret, and produce the new languange. It is obvious
that it will also enhances our problem solving skills. Students who are able to
communicate in foreign language tend to understand the lesson faster than others.
They also get good grade at school. Just like the muscle, brain also needs exercise.
The best exercise is learning foreign languages. Second, using foreign language
will broaden the networks. It is not hard for people with multi languages or
poligots to cooperate and collaborate with people around the world. Poligots will
be able to interact and even influence others using their ability in communication.
Nowadays, even a champaign can be spread all over the world using many
laguages. The third reason is getting a job in our country and abroad is easy for
poligots. Companies need people with good language ability. The more people
master the foreign languages, more opportunities will come for them. Company
knows exactly how beneficial the poligots for them.

Learning foreign language shapes the way we think and determines what we can
think about. So that, do not get bored and always be motivated learning them. It is
