Semi-detailed Lesson Plan

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to;
a. Define Gifted students
b. Describe the characteristics of a Gifted students in the said era; and
c. Compare and contrast how the society is seeing the gifted students from then to now.

I. Subject Matter

Topic: Understanding and Counseling Gifted Student (Historical Background)

II. Procedure

a. Preliminary Activity

 Prayer
 Checking of Attendance 
 Greetings
 Presenting of class rules
 Review 

III. Lesson Proper

a. Motivation
 The teacher will present a game for the motivation.
b. Discusion
c. Activity
The teacher will flash a video. In every item the students will have 5 seconds to
guess who is being described.
d. Analysis
 The teacher will ask how they are seeing the gifted students according to what they
have learned from the discussion.

IV. Application (20minutes)


Instruction:
On a clean sheet of paper create a venn diagram. Comapare and contrast how the society is
seeing the Gifted student from then and now.
V. Assignment
In a clean sheet of paper answer the following questions.
1. If you are going to propose a project for the gifted students, what will it be? and why?
