ABSTRACT

In this today’s era tremendous amount of data stored in databases


and data warehouses,for analysis thestored data for business intelligence to decision m
aking, becomes difficult. Data mining techniques give folks with new power
to analysis and manipulate the prevailing massive volume of information. There are
many achievements of applying data mining techniques in various areas such as
marketing, medical, and financial, although few of them can be currently seen in
software engineering domain. Data mining is a system of deriving knowledge from
such a massive data. In this article a detailed report on the data mining and its
essential algorithms are categorized.

KEYWORDS: - Data Mining; Classification, Apriori Algorithm ,K Means


Algorithm.
