Introduction:
“Interpersonal conflicts are conflict that occurs between two or more individuals”.

It refers to the exhibition of unsuitability and disagreement over ideas opinions, values, interest

organization. If a conflict is not resolved or it is allowed to shoot up too far, it can damage the
relationship.in the work place, interpersonal conflicts are often seen as problematic, something
that needs to be pushed under the rug. But because conflict is inevitable, it is all more essential to
deal with it immediately.

Types of conflicts:
There are four main types of conflicts that needs to be resolved for a healthy environment in a
workplace:
1.Pseudo conflict:
This type of conflict arises when two people want different things and can neither come to an
agreement nor got what they want without the interference of another person. It can also happen
due to misunderstanding and it can be resolved easily without too much trouble.

also happens when two people can not agree on a problem-solving strategy or action plan in a
given situation.
3.Fact conflict:
Fact conflict arises when two or more people disagree over information or the truth about
something. E.g., one of two friends is utterly convinced that snakes can hear, but the other one
insists that they are unable to hear as they don’t have ears. This can often be resolved pretty
easily. all we have to do is to check an authentic source for the truth.
4.Value conflict:
This conflict arises when people from different personal value disagrees over a task. Conflict
about values cab be very difficult to resolve, because neither party will compromise. Sometimes
the best option is to simply agreement of one person. E.g., employees who disagree on
appropriate methods through which to complete a shared task.
