Craft Bags
ECO FRIENDLY
Biodegradable
If something is recyclable that means by definition that it is also biodegradable. This is a dramatic improvement over
plastic bags, which can take literally thousands of years to break down if they end up in the natural environment. The
long term effects of having all these plastic bags in the environment can only be detrimental to our ecological future.
No Threat to Animals
Few people realize the extent to which plastic bags comprise a threat to wildlife. Many animals will eat plastic bags,
thereby causing digestive problems that can lead to illness and even death. Small animals often get tangled and
trapped by them in ways that can cause injury or death. Plastic bags also end up in rivers, lakes and the ocean, where
they have similar negative affects on the creatures living there. It isn't just humans who benefit from the use of
recycled tote bags, but our animal friends as well.
Switching from plastic bags to reusable recycled bags totes has the potential to save over ten million barrels of oil.
Recyclable bags also save money, encourages recycling, protects the environment and is no threat to wildlife.
Considering all these advantages, it is no wonder that the switch to recyclable reusable bags is gaining momentum on
a daily basis.
