AFFIDAVIT-COMPLAINT

I, MARGIE ARCUENO REYMUNDO, Filipino, of legal age,

married, presently living at Blk 17 Lot 12 Ph3 Chanti St.
Villa De Primarosa Mambog III, City of Bacoor, Cavite
under oath, hereby deposed and state the following:
1. That on March 15, 2022, at 9:45a.m., my friend
Babeth Sumaculub Ardina Diña texted my messenger
account, asking for a picture of me holding my ID
and just a picture of me seeing my entire face
because she needed it as requirements for the
assistance to be given which is not specified from
whom that is worth ₱20,000.00, and assuming that
my friend is the one I am talking to, I sent all of her
requests. When I discovered that her son had posted
that my friend’s account had been hacked, it was too
late;
2. On the same day, at 10:45a.m., I received a call from
a friend, Gary Carandang, who informed me that he
did not have the ₱18,000 that I was borrowing. I told
him and confirmed to him that I owed him nothing.
That is when I discovered the hacker was using my
account to solicit or borrow money from my Facebook
friends;
3. That after hanging up the phone call, I attempted to
change my account password while I was on my way
to work, but all that appeared on my screen was
“Session expired log out”. When I arrived at the office,
I attempted to change my password once more, but I
was unable to do so because the hacker had already
changed the phone number and email address
associated with my account;
4. That the hacker continued to use it on March 16 and
17, 2022;
5. That I regained access to my account on March 18,
2022. I changed the password, email address, and
phone number right away. I also blocked all of my
Facebook friends and requested that my account be
deleted, but it was not deleted immediately and is
scheduled to be deleted on April 17, 2022, or 30 days
 after the deletion request. But I told all of my friends
that if the hacker messages them again with my
name and picture, or created another account with
my information and ask for money, it’s not me, and
block it right away;
6. That I am executing this affidavit not for the purpose
of fraud, perjury and to perpetuate injustice.
