Lead a team of hands on security engineering professionals responsible for planning, designing
and implementing security systems/controls of high complexity to support the business needs
and strategy
Effectively manage cross-functional internal/external team collaboration and communications to
effectively and efficiently manage Security and Technology Risk
Own the complete security agenda in project, drive and deliver security architecture and
engineering deliverables on time and on budget
Partner with the other technology engineering and operations teams to deliver seamless service
and infrastructure services
Responsible for planning and positioning of a security architecture and engineering service
Provide recommendations to Management to increase security effectiveness of organisation
and technology solutions
Extensive knowledge and demonstration of experience of Information Technology, particularly
those areas related to Information Security, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Big Data and
Network Security Engineering
Strong knowledge of the financial services area (or other critical infrastructure areas) with an
emphasis on network / system / application engineering and information security preferred
A proven ability to establish and sustain effective, professional relationships with Technology
and Business; work closely with business partners to understand business drivers and market
requirements; and provide leadership to the technology group in order to create the right
security solutions for the market in the required time frames
Experience deploying and maintaining critical, high-availability security systems and managing
and resolving associated security issues
Experience and familiarity working across the global IT Security community
High degree of technical complexity and conversancy; familiarity with complex global
information security infrastructures preferred
Experience with a wide array of security platforms, protocols, tools, and technologies
Knowledge of/experience with international compliance requirements/standards and APAC
regulation requirements
Strong understanding of current industry infrastructure standards and practices, along with an
engineering oriented background
Skilled at mentoring and motivating staff, communicating goals and other corporate initiatives
and driving to results
Regional exposure is preferred with experience working in different cultures in the Asia-Pacific
region and willingness to travel as and when required
Work experience or knowledge in the following tools would be an advantage: Cyberark,
ArcSight, Nexpose, Qualys, Checkpoint, McAfee ATD, TIE, Elastic Search, Tripwire, Network
Access Control, Smartpass, Intrusion Prevention System, any data at rest and endpoint
encryption solution
At least 10 years of experience in the information security field with at least 5 years of
experience in a management capacity and experience responding to Security Engineering
Professional credentials in relevant cyber security disciplines, such as ITIL-SM, ITGI, CGEIT, CISM,
CISA or CISSP, including CISSP-ISSMP, in good standing
At least 3-4 years of experience in leading IT project management
