B. Do you agree with conflict theorists that social change in a society is primarily motivated by wars and
revolutions? Why or why not?

Yes, because the revolutions and wars may result in a new set of social relationships, culture, political system,
and technology. A revolution can cause widespread changes in a social system. Revolution takes place through conflict
or problem between the people and the political groups. This could be generally violent situation. Conflicts or clashes
between them can result in social changes. According to Hanson (2012) in pamplinmedia.com, war can wipe out mens
(soldiers) because they are the one who fight there, just like it did during World War II, which killed over 60 Million
people. Then, because the mens or soldiers died there, the women are left alone and raise their children alone.
According to Hanson (2012) too, guilt, anxiety, and other emotions disrupt families during war and can cause change
in social patterns.
